Creating an umbrella for my multiple interests including literature and media spurred me to explore relationships between themes in photography and poetry. Two comparisons I have researched and presented are between Cindy Sherman's "Centerfold" photograph series and Judith Wright's "To a Another Housewife". The latter comparison is of Gordon Parks'  series on Mohammed Ali and Maya Angelou's "Ain't We Bad".

I think this interdisciplinary outlook on what one learns and their interaction with the world is a common thread that runs through my approach to life and the outcomes I create. This is not only reflected in my work within this website but also in how I interact with others and come up with creative solutions to
new challenges.

Below are notes from the comparative work I have done between poetry and photography.
